Short description
NauticCalc is a digital navigation toolkit for skippers on iPhone and iPad: offline, with no subscription and no account, made in Switzerland.
Description (about 80 words)
NauticCalc brings 25 navigation tools together in one app: course conversion from compass course to course over ground, tidal stream and leeway corrections, light range, vertical sextant angle, Dutchman's log and ETA. It also includes a logbook that detects anchoring, sail changes and watch changes automatically, an anchor alarm, tides and marine weather. All calculations run on the device, and magnetic variation comes from the current World Magnetic Model 2025. NauticCalc costs CHF 9 or €9.99 once, with no subscription and no ads.
