Open Nautical conversions: speed, distance, Beaufort, temperature, depth.
Step 2: Typical cases
- kn → km/h for crew ashore
- nm ↔ m for ETA distance
- Beaufort for rough wind allowance
Step 3: Stay consistent
Use the same units (nm, kn) in ETA and logbook.
